Zachary Bird is a versatile artist and painter who has produced a great volume
of work in various modalities. His works include commissioned portraits and
local landscapes, faux finishes in historical properties, murals for restaurants,
homes and the workplace. Much of Bird's impressionistic works reflect his
affection for nature, particularly scenes of the Wissahickon and Delaware Valley.

Zack was born into a long line of artists beginning with his great uncle, French
Painter Victor Nehlig (1830–1909), continuing with his great grand father Frank
Bird, a draftsman, grand father William Frank Bird, an illustrator, father William
Barwell Bird 1940 Graphic artist and mother Bronwyn Bell Bird 1942 portrait artist
and oil painter. Art has been a part of Zack's life from the cradle.
